Chihiro vs Sojo, the Clash of enchanted Blades, Kagurabachi chapter 17

 

Chapter 17 of Kagurabachi Manga kicks off with the Clash between Chihiro and Sojo as initially expected, however before the clash, they both sit down and converse, their conversation is mostly entangled around the reason for the creation of the enchanted blades by Rokuhira (Chihiro's Dad), and his will towards the use of the Enchanted Blades

Remember Rokuhira told his son Chihiro that Katana's are tools that help save numerous lives and slashed open new Eras, however, one should never forget they're also tools for killing, and as a Swordsmith you shoulder the responsibility of making sure your Katana's never fall into the wrong hands, Rokuhira Never wanted the enchanted blades to go back into the world, because he knew it would be used for selfish reasons, thus bringing forth once more chaos into the world, that's the reason why he hid away from the outside world for Age's, sadly his location was compromised, which led to his death, eventually those who killed Chihiro's Dad, took his enchanted Blades and put it into the world, just to create Chaos and the struggle of power, Thus Chihiro inherited his father's will, and went forth to take the enchanted Blades back from the world and in the process slay those who are responsible for the death of his Father( Rokuhira)

Sojo thanked Chihiro because he helped him understand something he turned a blind eye to concerning the enchanted Blades, he concluded that to Defeat evil and protect the weak he accepted Chihiro's Nauseating Belief, Chihiro thought Sojo somewhat understood the will of his dad (Rokuhira), However, it turns out Sojo Wield the Sword, with his own Believe, ( enchanted blades) which is as a weapon of mass destruction, that's the only message Sojo got from the Fine works of Chihiro's Dad, Inorder word's their little heart to heart was of no success, and a clash between their Ideals to see who's right was Imminent!

Well as expected the battle began, immediately, Sojo was about to one-shot Chihiro with his Cloud Gouger attack, thanks to Cloud Gouger's innate abilities Sojo had the upper hand because he was insanely fast, at the get-go, however, Chihiro immediately Sacrificed his Arm to change the trajectory of Sojo's attacks, right away Sojo noticed Chihiro was significantly way faster than before after he lost an arm, However, Chihiro also Noticed Sojo's with his high-speed lightning riding was significantly faster than before too

Sojo detected Chihiro had three ace cards in his hands, one, a long-distance slashing attack, two, a self-defense tactic that rendered Mei ineffective, and lastly, the charge he used as a lightning Rod, Sojo instantly concluded he had to cloak himself with lightning and deliver a surprise attack!, However there was a Catch, if he cloaked himself with his remaining spirit energy, he only had twelve seconds to move, and if he made use of any other Technique during this period, his movement will be restricted! , also if he did everything right but missed his attack his death is unavoidable, with all possibilities considered, Sojo decided to Cloak himself with twice the spirit energy his body allowed, ignoring the consequences of such actions in order to Defeat Chihiro

Sojo missed his intended attack, he immediately got his arm cut off by Chihiro's attack, turns out Chihiro cloaked himself with three times more spirit energy than what his body normally allowed, this allowed him to move extremely fast, which enabled him to swiftly dodge Sojo's attack and cut off his Arm, instantly Sojo moved and tried to Attack Chihiro once more, however, Chihiro Release Nishiki and Skewed the timing of Sojo's attack, and eventually Defeated Sojo!
