The Mystery and Importance of Grand Fisher to the Totality of the Bleach Franchise



 Grand fisher is one of the earliest bleach antagonist. He set the standard for bleach writing, which characters like yhwach and aizen fail to meet. Only ginjo and kira surpass him in terms of his characterisation!


For starters grand fisher has the biggest impact on the series, He Basically killed ichigo's mom, he also is used as the introduction to isshin's soul reaper form. In fact he foreshadowed the arrcanars at the end of his first fight with ichigo, Speaking of ichigo he also helped pushed ichigo's resolve, Thus being the first Antagonist to corner Ichigo so hard to the point he  evolve and become way more powerful than he was, totally being the Foundation / Stepping stone of Ichigo's Willpower towards being an insanely powerful Soul Reaper, indirectly being the basic Reason why ichigo was able to have the will power to confront and put an end to foes like Aizen.


Themes- This is something that sets him apart from others. His first introduction was chapter 18 "memories of the rain".  Now what is the signifcance of rain, well Rain in bleach refers to interspection and reflection of one's self (like in the recent bleach ep), Grand fisher is suppose to represent discovery of one's self which is a major theme in bleach. 


Moving forward, another theme in The Bleach Franchise is in relation to Grand fisher's abilities, is his Lure, Grand Fisher can use a lure that transform to anyone he imagine, This shows the theme of deception. Now which character is known for Deception Aizen


I also think out of all the hollow designs he got the best one, even his arrcanar form.


Basically we can see Grand Fisher is indirectly the Foundation of the Entire Bleach Franchise, Which the Writer of the Series ( Tite Kubo ) Made use to Foreshadow Whats the series is definitely all about/ Would be About
